What time of year should I list my home? This is a very popular question we hear from many homeowners considering the sale of a property. Below is a 5 year chart showing the number of sales for each given month. As illustrated by the chart, Central Florida real estate markets tend to be more active during the summer months while the holiday season between November and January tend to be the slowest. If you have the luxury of timing the market, then statistically you should list your home in February, March or April. Now other factors always come into play beyond just calendar months so don’t let this be the only consideration, but this chart definitely answers one of the most popular questions from sellers.
